How this website handles your information.
Workshop waitlist
If a workshop fills up, you may provide your name, email, number of places needed, and consent to waitlist emails. We store signup order, contact status and confirmation-email status to manage openings. Joining is free and does not reserve a place or subscribe you to marketing. Get in touch to leave the list or request deletion. A hashed network identifier is held for signup abuse prevention.
Workshop registration
When registration opens, booking information includes the booking contact, participant names, age group (12–17 or 18+), and parent/guardian details and consent for minors. For each new booking we also retain the applicable waiver wording and version, typed signer name, role and server-recorded acceptance time. This information is stored to manage attendance, payment status, refunds and booking communications. Card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored on this site. Confirmation emails are delivered through the configured email provider.
Bookings are available to the site owner in a protected administration area. Keep your private booking-status link secure. Get in touch to request access, correction or deletion of your information, subject to required transaction records.
Inquiries
The inquiry tool prepares a message in your own email application. The website does not store or submit the form entries. If you send the email, the information you provide is delivered to Self-Defense Manitoba to respond to your inquiry.
Embedded videos
This site includes YouTube videos using YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed domain. Playing or interacting with videos may share information with YouTube, subject to its policies.
External services
Fonts may be loaded from Google Fonts. Site hosting providers may process technical request information to deliver and protect the website.
