Level 1.
A practical place to start.
A one-hour Krav Maga reality-based self-defense workshop for adults and teens ages 12 and up.
Awareness. Concepts.
Physical skills.
This Level 1 workshop mirrors the foundation taught in Self-Defense Manitoba's introductory seminars. This workshop brings together awareness and avoidance strategies, basic self-defense concepts and physical defense skills in a focused one-hour session.

What the hour covers
- Awareness and avoidance: recognizing potential trouble and considering options before a situation becomes physical.
- Basic self-defense concepts: the thinking behind simple, practical responses.
- Physical defense skills: an introduction to the gross motor approach used in our teaching.
Where do you go from here?
Level 2 builds on the skills covered in this seminar, including ground defense and dealing with weapons. Ask us about further training after your introductory workshop.
